Cenna

Terms of Use

Effective 16 September 2026

These terms cover the Cenna app and this site. By using Cenna you agree to them. Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies to the app as distributed on the App Store; where the two differ, these terms add to it rather than replace it.

What Cenna is

Cenna saves recipes you find, plans your week from them, writes a grocery list, reads photos of your kitchen, and walks you through cooking. Recipes, plans and lists are produced in part by automated systems and can be wrong: an amount misread from a video, a step out of order, a macro estimate off. Check anything that matters, especially allergens, and cook safely.

Your content

Recipes you import stay yours, and their original authors keep their rights. Cenna stores your copies for your own use. Do not use Cenna to republish other people's recipes, and do not import content you have no right to use.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself. You can delete your account from Settings at any time; that removes everything you saved. We may close accounts that abuse the service, for example by running automated requests against it.

Cenna Plus

Limits

Features that use automated systems (drafting, re-rolls, photo scans, imports) have fair-use limits so the service stays affordable for everyone. The app tells you when a limit is reached.

No warranty

Cenna is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be, and we are not liable for a meal that did not turn out, a shopping trip that missed an item, or any indirect loss, to the extent the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms; the app will say so when it matters. Continuing to use Cenna after a change means you accept it.
